As some of my fellow students in university told me they'd like to try D&D someday, I had a excuse for building another fantasy world!
Now, I strictly wanted to build this world bottom-up (details to bigger picture), as I often (as in always) get kind of frustrated with my own creative work after some time.
BUT as I love to make fantasy maps, I couldn't hold back, and here is the result!
As always, if you enjoy my maps feel free to use them for your own (uncommercial) gaming purposes!
This time the map uses Hexes to determine distance. My original thought was 60 miles per Hex, but feel free to adapt that number for yourself.
As someone correctly pointed out to me, there was too much gaussian noise.
So here is the updated version. link
I decided to give each climate zone a more appropriate color scheme. Since this is a fantasy map I think this helps to envision the individual areas more accurately.
